是發源於臺灣的家具與生活設計品牌，創立於 2020年12月。品牌名稱「土與木」意指「本質」，象徵紮實的工藝精神與對自然素材的探索；"To Mood" 則蘊含為居家空間創造最理想生活氛圍之意。品牌致力於透過設計與工藝的力量，將自然的溫潤帶回日常，讓家具成為連結人與居家空間的媒介，勾勒出美好的生活理想樣貌。

Tomood is a novel brand of creative furniture and lifestyle designs developed from Taiwan, founded in December 2020. "Tomood" reflects the brand’s dedication to setting the perfect emotional tone and atmosphere for any living space.  Tomood is dedicated to bringing the warmth of nature back into everyday life through design and local craftsmanship. By positioning furniture as a meaningful medium between people and their living environments, the brand outlines a beautiful picture of ideal everyday living.

Brand Philosophy｜設計哲學與品牌核心

  • 使用者體驗與情感共鳴：以「設計思考」為核心，從日常生活的真實情境與使用體驗出發，探究人、物件與空間的深層互動，將情感機能與視覺認知轉化為兼具實用性與療癒感的生活提案。

    Guided by Design Thinking, we begin with real-life scenarios and user experiences to explore the subtle interactions between people, objects, and spaces. We transform emotional resonance and visual cognition into living proposals that balance functionality with emotional comfort.

    Combining design strategy with a cross-disciplinary perspective, we fluidly integrate materials, textures, forms, semantics, techniques, cost efficiency, and historical-cultural context—breaking traditional furniture boundaries to craft innovative solutions suited for contemporary lifestyles.

2. 臺灣國產材與循環永續 (Domestic Timber & Circularity)

  • 在地永續林業：響應臺灣永續林業管理，嚴選具在地溫度的國產樹種（如具七彩紋理的臺灣杉、木紋理清晰的柳杉、杉木與相思木等疏伐木與小徑木），展現沉靜樸實的山林生命力。
  • 低碳固碳與全材利用：相較於進口木材，國產材大幅降低跨國運輸的碳足跡，並發揮木材本身的「固碳」特性。生產過程中落實全材利用，將木作留下的餘料轉化再生，不浪費大地的每一份賜予。

2. Domestic Timber & Circularity

  • Local Sustainable Forestry
    In response to Taiwan’s sustainable forestry initiatives, we carefully select native timber species rich in character—such as Taiwania with its multicolored grain, as well as Cryptomeria, China Fir, and Formosan Acacia from thinnings and small-diameter logs—embodying the serene and humble vitality of the mountain forest.
  • Low Carbon, Carbon Storage & Zero-Waste Utilization
    Compared to imported wood, using domestic timber drastically reduces cross-border transport emissions while leveraging the wood's natural carbon storage capabilities. We maximize material efficiency by upcycling wood residuals into renewed creations, honoring every resource gifted by nature.

3. 異材質混搭與工藝創新 (Material Fusion & Innovation)

  • 傳統藤編技藝的現代轉化：承襲臺灣早期的藤編工藝，結合現代設計語彙與無金屬釘壓藤技術。以藤芯卡扣固定木與藤編，不僅具備高載重、透氣涼爽（適應臺灣海島型悶濕氣候），更大幅提升了未來維修與拆解保養的便利性。
  • 自然素材的和諧混搭：巧妙融合大理石的沉穩石紋、臺灣竹材的韌性結構。透過對材料質感、形狀、顏色與語意的精準混搭，突破單一材質限制，創造層次豐富且充滿情感的生活美學。

3. Material Fusion & Craft Innovation

  • Modern Transformation of Traditional Rattan Craft
    Inheriting Taiwan’s rich rattan heritage, we marry modern design language with a metal-nail-free press-fit technique. By securing wood and rattan elements through natural rattan core splines, we create structures that offer strong load capacity, breathability ideal for humid island climates, and effortless repairability or disassembly.
  • Harmonious Blend of Natural Materials
    We artfully mix the solid presence of marble with the resilient structure of local bamboo. Through precise synthesis of textures, shapes, colors, and material semantics, we push beyond single-material boundaries to deliver rich, multi-layered living aesthetics.

4. 傳統榫接與長效耐用 (Artisanal Joinery & Longevity)

  • 反思快時尚，追求長效陪伴：對抗大量製造與同質化的過度消費，家具採用傳統榫接（Mortise & Tenon）結構為核心，並輔以現代精準加工設備，提升結構強度與品質，打造能隨時間淬鍊、陪伴歲月的永續家具。

4. Artisanal Joinery & Longevity

  • Rethinking Fast Fashion for Long-Lasting Companionship
    In contrast to mass production and homogenized consumer culture, our furniture is built around traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, complemented by modern precision machinery. This enhances structural integrity and quality, creating sustainable pieces designed to age gracefully alongside you.

  • 將生態危機轉化為設計契機：深入關注在地生態與社會議題，將自然環境變異（如阿里山轎篙竹枯死與竹害現象）轉化為創作靈感與契機，透過「竹生·重塑」等專案，將山林議題轉化為具國際設計質感的永續產品。
  • 深耕臺灣，支持在地工藝：堅持臺灣設計與製造，支持本土職人與在地供應鏈，確保每一件作品皆來自公平、透明且友善的勞動環境，讓作品成為傳播臺灣文化故事的溫暖載體。

    We actively engage with local ecological and societal issues, turning environmental challenges—such as the die-off of Kao-Chiao bamboo in Alishan—into creative catalysts. Through projects like Re-Sprouting, we transform forest conservation issues into sustainable, internationally resonant design objects.

    Committed to 100% Taiwanese design and manufacturing, we support local artisans and local supply chains. We ensure every piece originates from a fair, transparent, and ethical working environment, making each creation a warm vehicle for telling Taiwan’s cultural story.
